hi,iv just had a thought,when i turn my key in the ignition,the lights light up but ther is no CEL light.at all.,its an eg4 import(cypris),D15B2 engine.should it have one.? thanks in advance

 

It's common for the bulb to be taken out of a used car. If there is a space for it on the dash it should light up for the bulb test. Do you know which generation ECU it uses?

 

not sure what ecu it is but on the dash iv got 2 empty spaces that dont light up,if you look at the light without the ignition on,at a angle you can see what the light should be,for example the indicater,you can see that that is the indicater withought it being lit up.if that makes sense,i just havent got a cel light

Does it have fuel injection? I think all the EFI models had a CEL but none of the carb ones do.
