I have a 97 Civic LX and Yesterday I installed a cold air intake made for another vehicle but it had only been used once. It started fine ran fine but when I went to drive it, it stalled and now it won't start, it cranks but won't start. I pushed it home and charged the battery and it still won't start. I tried jumping it and nothing. I reset the ecu and it didn't help. I really don't know what to do. If someone could help I'd really appreciate it.

 

automatic transmission?

the way you described this screams mass airflow sensor to me at least. no matter what intake you have you need an MAF on a stock ecu. had a similar issue with my volvo and it was just an unplugged MAF. let me know if that works.
