Default Normal to V-tec

just a quick question about my 93' LX. what kind of mods do i have to do toput a V-tec engine into my car. the engine i have in there right now is messed up. so i was just wondering what else i'll need to change

I would pick up a d16z6 or d16y8 and swap it in if I were you.

for your car i would get a D16Z6 or a JDM D15B, both are fairly cheep and both have about 130hp

i want you guys to know, that i'm not looking for a brand new engine or anything, im looking for something used, with a little more beef. i just don't know how much i'm going to have to spend. am i looking at around $2000 or what?

Engine itself should not be for than a few hunderd bucks, and if you do the swap yourself - that's it

For $2000 you could swap in a d16y8 and do i/h/e on it. That would be pretty nice.

i would go jdm d15b... get a nice trans... my brother has it, and it has nice long gears (perfect for a turbo, wind that thing right up) and he gets 40 mph at 90 haha
