Something that none slight ocd people might ha. Ok so my car was in neutral, radio off all I could hear were normal engine sounds. I push in the clutch pedal and that normal engine noise became quieter so now I notice it quiets up a bit with clutch pedal depressed. Is this a normal thing?

if its not a very big difference, then its probably normal. its the sound of the gears in the transmission moving with the engine, then when you push in the clutch, they stop. if the noise coming from the transmission is very loud though, it could be a bearing. probably the input shaft bearing. if its not very noticeable i wouldnt worry too much over it though, theres a little bit of noise that is normal.

Ok sounds good I was hoping its not the pilot bearing but again its not too noticable you just have to listen and you'd notice that it quiets up/gets smoother sounding when clutch pedal's pressed
