so i just got all new o2 sensors and i keep pulling the o2 sensor heater malfunction codes for both before and after cat sensors. i have replaced the fuse and the o2 sensors and it doesn't seem to be working. any help would be appreciated

 

What year Civic?

What work did you recently do that might cause faults in both heater element circuits? Any ECU or wiring work?

What fuse was blown?

Are your O2 sensor installations plug and play or is rewiring involved?

 

1. 1997 lx

2. i put in an o2 simulator but i always had the connector out when i was working so i don't know how it would have shorted.

3. there was no fuse blown but i switched #15 in the in car fuse box just in case.

4. yes the sensors are plug and play
