to swap the engine it will need alot of work. you gotta rewire the ecu and convert your engine from the dual point to mpfi. first. then you need a pm6 ecu(from 88-91civic si),b' series complete motor and trans. custom motor mounts, cv axles , front rotors and calipers all from the integra.

This is something that im try to do aswell. I have 89 civic DX and trying to figure out whats the best route. B,H,F series? And yes I understand that other stuff will be neded. Looking for all parts needed for this swap, any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, T-flow cylinder heads

well first you gotta get rid of the dual point and convert to mpfi and get a ecu from a 88-91 civic or crx si the ecu is pm6 and the resistor box.
heres my 91 civic when i converted from the dual point to mpfi
then you can go for a b' series engine. try to get one from a older model integra one that is obd0 just like your civic's you can get new but will be alot more wiring involved.and you wont have to convert your clutch from cable to hydro.
to swap in the b engine you will need
complete b engine and trans
cv axles from the b' engine
the front rotor complete assembly
custom motor mount from like hasport.

Yes and no.
You can go ahead and put on the VTEC head, and the car will work just fine. Kicker is - no vtec power.
You have to hook up the vtec solenoid and get the vtec ecu - which I believe is OBD-1. < someone correct me if wrong. Its been a while. =P > If its OBD-1, you gotta change wiring. Fun stuff. Also, still have to change DPFI to MPFI.
All of this sounds kinda hard, but its not that bad.Just get a few buddies over, and take a weekend to get R done.

ok do i didnt think that through very much..... it was kinda obvoius after a lil consideration. so let me try again, im thinkin a d16 head might be easier to place than a d15, so if i find a d16 sohc head before i can find d15 should i go ahead get it? can i bolt a normal d16 head on that d15 block and plug all the injectors and crap right in no prob? im really ready to get this back on the road
