Oh Dear God I Can't Take It Anymore
So through a series of unfortunate events, I now have an AirSoft BB living in that vent high up on the dash, the one that shoots defrost air onto the windshield. I can hear it rattling around in there and it is driving me crazy. I've tried peering into the vent from every angle, and I can not see it. I imagine it is far down in there.
I've tried sticking a vacuum host up against the vent to suck it out. Utter failure.
I took it to the dealership for an oil change today and asked if they could help. They looked at it and said they would have to dismantle the dashboard. fml.
Here is a shot of the vent:

There is a little round button shaped thing, I don't know what it does. Maybe there is a way to remove just the vent, and then I can get my hand down in there to fish the BB out.
Or maybe I could dip a pipe cleaner in super glue and just flap it around in the vent.
Or maybe I could turn the car upside down and it would just fall out.
If anyone here has any advice as to how I can get that BB out of there, I would love you forever.

p.s. It's a 2008 Honda Civic.

I'm surprised a shop vac with the defroster blowing didn't get it. That thing must be lodged in there something fierce. If nothing else, taking apart the dash isn't the hardest thing you'll ever have to do, so you might just have to get in there and do it.
Thanks for the reply!
Hmm, so taking apart the dash isn't that hard? Is there a good resource for this type of thing that you know of? A How-To or manual?
I found these PDF instructions for removing the dash to install a stereo: http://www.handa-accessories.com/civ...ivic-radio.pdf
However, I'm not sure this removes the relevant part of the dash, just the front facing parts.

If you can get to a garage with a compressor with an air blower, they should be able to blow it out from another vent, as a car valeter I do this regularly and it clears everything out of the vent system.lol ste
