Default Oil in my air cleaner

I found a couple of pools of what looks/smells/feels like oil in the bottom of my air cleaner box. Any ideas what is causing this?

You might want to compression test your cylinders as this may be caused by blow-by gases pressurizing the crankcase. The oil might be getting to the air filter via the PCV valve that connects to the IM.
