OK I looked for a proper place for this ?
You know that sweet sound when your revin up to hit VTEC and then hitting the RED line ???
I am not sure how or why this is happening but - IT It is weird - NOW when I hit VTEC it doesnt seem right, also when I hit VTEC in 3rd or 4th gear the "idiot light" comes on.. and it ACTS like it is bouncein off of Rev limiter - this is becoming a bummer .
At first I thought it might be my filter is plugged - I checked it and cleaned it reinstalled it.
No change
Then I checked Plug - a bit dirty but they where 9 months old, I changed them A bit of change in the sound it is sweet again till about 5500 then around 6000 it sounds raspy and it bounces and the light comes on..
I have done almost a full tune up - except for the distributor.
I have a Comptech Cold air intake system, with the air horn aimed level and straight forward directly behind the lower side FAKE vent were the fog light might have been, see my home page for more info and the 3rd image down, http://www.cardomain.com/ride/722107/4
I thought it might have been because of this :
I was in a auto wreck back DEC (a jeep ran over may front end destroying my intake and Dist. cap ) ever since then my engine Light was coming on, They did a Computer check and told me it was my CAT, ( I posted a question after that about what else is out there for CATs since my MAGNO FLO went bad in 1.5 years ) any way I replaced it since then - It sounds better but there is a rasping noise at high rev. Just does not sound right you know ??
OR
I put my nose in a deep puddle and it almost stalled but I think it was acting weird before that...
So hummm what do you think ? should this be scatches and posted somewhere else ?

here is a update I hope someone will reply to this sometime....
I took it to 2 different AutoZones and they could not get a link up,,, both..
So I took it to the shpo the fixed my car in decembers wreck - they told me there machine could not determine what it ment but It did give a code
"P1259" I called 2 differnet Honda dealers about this and they gave me different reasons.
One was VTEC switch was going bad - it comes in a assemble and is about 300 bucs.
the other said it was low oil pressure just add oil.
well I loss about a half of the dip stick a week ( 84 miles a day - approx 450 miles ) I have been told that is normal. SO I add oil al the time at least once a week . but at any oil level I still can get the same ENGINE LIGHT. Weird huh.
