is there a way we can check that this car does not have a bleeder valve for the coolant? if it does, can i get an iamge? i have the car pulled apart, trying to change water pump, timing belt, and both serp. belts. so any photos on the location of the bleeder would be great!!

just go to the auto parts store and buy a repair manual for your car for like $15. it'll tell you exactly what you need to know, and will be useful in the future. i looked online but i can't find the bleeder bolt in any pictures of your engine online.

if you do not have a bleed screw the proper way to bleed our system effectively is either park in a sloped driveway or jack up the front of your car. pull off the rad cap and insert a small funnel and fill with 50/50 mixed coolant and the car will bleed itself you can help it by squeezing the upper rad hose but be carefull cause it will be hot. this will probably take up to a 1/2 hour. This is how i had to bleed my 98 civic and its cause the cooling fans are only effective up to about 30 mph and then on top of that if your not cooling the water then its just air and heat transfer is much greater than water. meaning that the water/coolant is far superior.

Good news got the car all back together, i bleed the system, and ran it for bout an hour, and everything seems to be runnin great cooling wise. The cooling fans work properly and thermostat works, plus i got heatnow in the car!! Bad news, timing on the car is off, at idle it's fine, but when driving it, it keeps falling on its face, and wanting to stall out. Does anyone know how to adjust the timing? Also when i put the timing belt on i made sure the crank and the cam gear was top dead center, so not sure why the timing is off. Any help on the timing would be great.

Update: Got the car back from the shop after timing was adjusted, but then ran into another problem. Crank sensor was malfunctioning, so i sent the car back into the shop for the ACT stage 2 clutch kit along with an 8.5lb fidanza flywheel. Once it was finished in the shop, i replaced the crank sensor. Now the car ripps!!! Insane difference with the new clutch and flywheel... Thanks for all ur help guys!!!!
