I was looking at the info on that and it says not for California models. I saw a bunch like that as well. I dont understand why it wouldnt be for a CA car when it has provisions for 2 O2's just like mine....Does that type of CAT not clean as well or somthing ?? Thank you by the way....

I think Im going to be buying that cat assy. on friday when I get paid, but after looking at mine, it has a welded on tabs to hold the heat shield, but the new one dosent. I dont want it to rattle. ???

 

the heat shield on the new one is just made different...
you can also sell you old cat for some good$$$$
to go twords your new one..

 

You think someone will buy it with the maniflod cracked like that ? In your opinion what would be a good price to ask for it in order for a quick sale ???

 

It doesn't matter that it's cracked. You sell it just for the precious metal (platinum and/or palladium) in the catalyst part. The price of scrap metal has varied a lot lately though.
