Performance suggestions for '92 VX?
Hello all. I'm new here, and I have a 'new to me' 1992 Civic VX. The car is completely stock under the hood, and while it's fairly peppy and fun to drive around town, I'd like to look into some inexpensive ways to get some extra oomph out of my 1.5 liter. What have y'all found to give the most bang for the buck for your cars without swapping engines? I'm not interested in another engine, 'cause I LOVE the 45+ mpg I'm getting. I'd just like to know if there is anything I can do to the peripherals of the existing engine to feed it some espresso, so to speak. Thanks for your input and suggestions!
throw some heads on it n a intake ..good price spark plugs nice oil change n tranny oil change n performance distributor n spark wires in the end you should get at least
with heads n intake id say 20+hp
you could throo a performance clutch that would give you good take off
with a performance distributor n spark wires id say 10+ hp
