I have a weird popping noise when I accelerate, not hard acceleration, but medium. It only happens til the car is fully warmed up, then it goes away. Car is a 2000 LX. I took it to the dealer and they said the CV joints were fine and told me the exhaust manifold was cracked and the noise was probably from that. They wanted $1096 to change it. I changed it myself along with new O2 sensors, no change whatsoever. What could it possibly be that would go away after warmup? This 2000 Civic has a lot of bugs for sure.
