Default Possible to make an Automatic Civic higher revving?

Hi,

Kind of a newbie question. Is it possible to re-program an AUTOMATIC Honda Civic to make it higher reving? In other words, is it possible to reprogram my automatic Civic's shift points so it shifts at higher RPM's? Maybe by re-programming the ECU or something like that (or whatever computer component controls at what RPM the car shifts at).

Because I find the Civic shifts pretty early, way before the redline. Honda surely made these shiftpoints early to preserve engine life but I just want a higher revving engine.

I know some wisea$$ might just say get a manual but I just want to know if doing something like that is possible on an automatic? Thanks.
