Default Power Steering Hose

Have any of you guys replaced your power steering pressure hose? I am talking about the hose that is very short that goes directly from your reservoir to the pump. The hose is cracked at the pump end and is leaking fluid. Any troubleshooting tips or places I could find it online? Did some searches and did not come up with too many choices.

Thanks

greg

Default RE: Power Steering Hose

The hose from the reservoir to the pump is on the return side, not pressure. Probably a dealer part. You need to go to the dealer anyway to buy fluid. Using generic fluid will lead to leaky seals in the rack. Read the fine print, most of it is now labeled "for most all cars EXCEPT Honda."
