Angry Power window trouble (05 si)

Ok, so my 2005 SI's driver-side power window will roll down with no issue. But the majority of the time, when I roll it up, whether I just click the button or hold it down, it goes up either an inch and back into the door or about 6 inches and down three and continues to do so every time I click the button. . It's really aggravating and after 30 seconds to a minute of clicking, cursing, and yelling it rolls up completely. What seems to be the problem here?

its probably an issue with the button itself. Many times the driver's side button will wear out because: A) its used the most and B) it has a function built in that allows you to hit the button once and it will roll all the way up on its own, without you holding it.

My guess is that the switch is getting worn out and just needs to be replaced. I did it on my 02 Impala and it was easy.

Hope that helps.
