i forgot to mention i also found a piece of wire inside my obd1-obd2 harness that was laying across 3 pins. this was causing me to throw intermittent CEL's.

with both of these issues repaired, my car does feel alot faster now since its not running rough anymore!

 

who the heck did your swap some VW guys...lol...just kidding.sounds like they did a half *&% job to me. Im glad you figured it out.
