Hello im new to honda civic forum, I currently have problems with my 98 civic ex coupe automatic, my problem right now is that my RPM drops when I make a full stop (it feels like is going to turn off but it doesn't), when I'm ready to go after the full stop it lags to accelerate, my check engine is on, you guys think I can be the transmission? Or what can it be? Please help.

It gave me something with throttle body, can't remember the code the mechanic erased it saying that it will be okay to drive it like that but I don't fell it okay
