I have a 2013 Civic and I want to be able to lock my car before I close my doors. I want to be able to lock my car, put my keys into my pocket, then grab my stuff and close the door. Right now, I have to grab my stuff, close the door, lock the car, then put down my stuff and put my key away. it is a pain.

 

this feature is in place to prevent you from accidentally locking your keys in the car i have a strange feeling you would regret this. if you were to go through with this i would recommend you purchase a AAA membership and put them on speed dial lol.
