Default Putting the license plate back on.

Such a dumb post but very much needed.

Now we all know those tricky procedures we need to do to put a plate back on the front? Well worst came to worst I had to get my dad to cut off the bolts but now there are still half of them left in the bumper I need to get those out to put the new ones in so I can put the plate back on. Any ideas?

It will be very much appreciated lol.

Thanks.

If you can't the bolts out by using Liquid Wrench, you'll have to take the bumber off (it's actually pretty easy). There are a bunch of those plastic popper things that you have to pry the center out of and then remove them (they are under the hood), and then a couple (4 max) 8 or 10 mm bolts underneath the car, and a couple of phillips screws in the wheel wells towards the front of the car.

After you remove the bumper, you'll be able to get at all the nut assemblies holding the plate on. I'm assuming this is an older car since the bolts are rusted in, but this at least applies to 96-98's, and probably many more civics.

this happened to me. i took the easy way out and redrilled my front plate soi could use the outer holes instead of the inner holes. if you don't do that thenu'll need to take the bumber off like was mentioned above. y honda designed the car like this i don't know.
