I just got the code 8 reading for TDC sensor,now, the chilton manual says it's an assembly(with distribuitor(91 civic 1.5)is there no way to just replace the TDC sensor?also,will the ECU display more than 1 code at a time?(1 flash(O2 sensor),,,pause 8 flash(TDC) any help would be great,hope i'm not out 200 bucks for distribuitor

 

do they flash the same speed? or are some quicker?

 

no,as a matter of fact i looked again,and the single flash occurs when ignition is first turned on,but after flashing 8 times,it will repeat the 8 without the single,I belive I need to replace the TDC sensor,but chilton says its an assembly.I would like to know if i can just replace the sensor,thus saving the cost of the whole distributer(gonna need that $ for gas!)
