ok so there's this little vibration that happens under my car everytime i start going in 1 and through the beginning of 2. i think it might be something with my exhaust because it stops once i start going about 20 like half way through 2. can anyone help me as to what this might be??thanks!

 

I don't know whether this will help, but my 1997 Civic DX had a very similar problem that turned out to be a loose exhaust heat shield located near the catalytic converter.

 

oh really?? was that hard to replace or what?

 

check your heat shields. check all of them. If that isn't it then let us know. You can take a long screwdriver to bend them so they won't hit your exhaust

 

Replacing/fixing is very easy. Raise front of car on jack stands. Easy access and visibility from underside. The heat shield covering exhaust pipe A was my problem (see picture). Check shield for any wiggle or looseness. Even a small amount can be amplified by engine vibrations. The shield is held in by two bolts. You may be able to fix looseness without replacing.
