reading cel codes?

Default reading cel codes?

i have a 94 civic dx auto 4door and i have herd there is a plug under the dash by the passenger door. that if you jump the two pronged plug with a wire the light will flash codes. is this true? cuz i have torn this car apart on that side and there is NO damn two pronged plug that i can jump

The plug would be there. Look for the big harness above the ECU. The test plug hangs out from there. It is right at the height of the bottom of the dash / top of the carpet.

If you really can't find it you can also ground the wire right at the ECU. Uncover the ECU plugs and find the brown wire on pin 4 of plug D. Stick a grounded wire in the back of the cavity for that wire.
