Unhappy Really weak cranks than before

After changing the fuel pump, my car's cranks are noticebly weaker than before. I mean, it cranks slow and if I hold the key, it will die out in 5 seconds. What could be the outcome of this? sparks plugs/wires? The distributor rotor spins really slowly, should the distributor be replaced? Any info is much appreciated.

Check electrolyte level and make sure it is proper on each cell if you have conventional battery.

Charge battery if you have a charger. Perform load test of the battery a few hours after the charge is complete. Or take it to an auto parts store where can perform that test for you.

This would be the first thing I would do.

For future references, the ICM (Ignition Control Module)had gone bad in distributor cap. Reason why it wouldn't start up. Wasn't the fuel pump or starter.

I thought "slow cranking" was the issue.
