rear end lifts in reverse

rear end lifts in reverse
i have a 1995 civic lx 4 door, before i took the car in for brake work, the car would lift in reverse and lower back down for drive. now it lifts a little and i dont feel it lower in drive. is it normal or did they do something shiestey?
