Is your spoiler one of the OEM higher style ones that touches just the sides of the lid, or it it one of the low rise ones that have a center support too? Here is an example of one with no center support, driver's side view.

I wouldn't recommend removing it because of the holes it will leave in your trunk lid... but there are usually four black nuts on the underside of the lid, on the far left side (holes pictured) and the far right side. If you have one with the center support, that's where the wires go through the trunk lid (versus the third hole in the picture, to the right). Removing those four nuts will make the spoiler loose. If it has a LED bar, you'll also have to trace the wiring harness and find where the spoiler's LED bar plugs into the rest of the wiring harness for the brake lights. Make sure you loosen the wires FIRST.

If it's one of the aftermarket park bench wings, uninstalling it shouldn't be much different. Just look for nuts on the underside of the lid, (and be glad that you have done a great service to Civic owners by removing it.)

IMO, if it's possible within your budget, I'd find a suitable replacement at a salvage yard and swap with that, then clean, wax, and sell the old one as a "complete trunk lid assembly with spoiler, great condition!" on ebay or Craigslist.

Yah, it's the stock spoiler... Well, about the wiring, because it does have the LED brake light on it, how do I go about removing the wiring right? Should I just cut it? Oh and also like, would the spoiler with the LED even be sell-able(lol is this even a word)....?

well first off THINK ABOUT IT.... what do you need the money for????????

personaly if your spoiler is factory and painted to match... YOUR NUTS FOR TRYING TO REMOVE IT AND SELL IT and eventualy replace it!!!!! that sounds realy retarded if you ask me..... nothing personal but thats foolish talk!!!!! dont sell anything your just gonna replace shortly down the road! your gonna spend more money for another spoiler... and then pay MORE money to have it painted.... COME ON MAN.... if money is that tight go sell some PLASMA/BLOOD
at least your body will replace that free

JUST THINK ABOUT IT.... do you realy wanna waste 100+bucks afew weeks or month down the road for the LITTLE BIT OF CASH your gonna get from selling it?

my advice is DONT DO IT.... thiers more ways to get money.
ive had several friends do stupid sh** like this.... they need money so sold thier stereo system only to turn around NEXT MONTH and buy all new stuff which was THE EXACT SAME THING THEY HAD.... which basicaly means your just throwing away cash if you look at the big picture... its just foolish. either STRUGGLE or find another way to get money that doesnt include replacing what you sold shortly down the road!

im not trying to be a ***** BUT just want you to see what your talken about doing....

ya cause ive been thier times myself.... its a huge waste of money when you can just struggle for a week or two, bum rides to/from work, starve and miss a meal or two.LOL or even somethting small like sell some OLD video games you dont see yourself playing anymore...

ive been scraped for cash LOTS and usualy afew dollars away from bouncing my bank at least once a month.LOL im a paycheck to paycheck kinda guy unfortunatly. but im TRYING to be beter and not buy as much pointless crap anymore... TRYING THAT IS...LMFAO i still slip up...

but anyways now id rather just bounce a check and pay the 30ish bucks the bank charges if thiers no way around it.... or just struggle for awhile. ya its ruff at times but it will pass
