Default Replacing Cap and Rotor

i'm about to replace the cap and rotor when i get the parts in a couple days. i replaced the spark plugs and wires about 25,000 miles ago. how do i uninstall and install the cap and rotor? btw. i have a 99 civic hx. please be as detailed as possible, pretty noob at these stuff.

3 screws hold the cap on, 1 screw holds the rotor on.

very simple... unless of course your rotor screw is stripped like mine was.

its really that simple? 3 screws for the cap and 1 screw for the rotor and plug the spark plug wires back in the same location?

yep
should take no time at all

be careful with the rotor set screw... don't strip it, make sure you use the right size screwdriver... it's a major PITA to drill out

yea i'll use a manual screw driver. thanks for the help, never would have though it will be this easy. i was going to pay some one to do it since the guy is helping me replace my rear drums this weekend. but my girl friends dad said that i should do it myself

i'm wondering to replace the cap and rotor is parts number, 20306 and 20307 what i need? so i can just go into honda parts and ask for cap and rotor and they would understand?

yea those are the part numbers you need

just tell them you need a cap and rotor though, just make sure they give you the cap assembly and not just the cap
