replacing recirculation filter

I was curious if there is a way to replace the recirculation filter in the cabin? And if so where is the filter located and where would you find a new clean one to put in?

What year civic do you have? i think its only on the newer ones that have it. But it should be behind the glovebox

1999 honda civic lx, i think i have seen a foam-ish looking thing behind the glovebox. How do you get back there?
