Default k&n filter vs cheap AutoZone filter

Ok I have a cheapo CAI with a filter from auto zone on it. I want to slap on an AEM or a k&n filter in place of it....is it worth the 40-45 extra bucks just for the filter? Is the airflow that much better?

it filters better........it will allow more air to pass thru........and less dirt and $hit.

Yeh, I would say the extra cash is worth it.

Yeah, besides the filtration, with a quality air filetr (K&N). you will never have to replace it. You just clean it and recharge it and you are good to go. So reallly in the long run you will probably save money.
