reset ECU, but CEL comes right back on!
I don't know what the crap is up. I failed emissions a little over a month ago and am therefore trying to fix the issue...
I just replaced my primary oxygen sensor, then when I went to go reset the ECU, the CEL came back on not within miles, but within seconds!
What does this mean??
I checked the code and the light blinked 6 slow times and 5 regular, but I can't find the chart anywhere that tells you what each number means. Even if it was anything bad, shouldn't that light not come on for X amount of miles?

Code 65 indicates a problem with the heater element of the secondary O2 sensor (after the cat). The CEL turns ON immediately because the fault with the O2 heater circuit is sensed rapidly by the ECU. Replace the sensor.
depending on your local laws, there might be a dollar amount of fixed/replaced parts, that allows you to be exept for that years test. In Wisconsin, if you exceed 500 or 600 dollars in attempts to pass emissions, they let you go for the next two years.
