rod replacement

hi all

ive got a short shifter on my 92 civic and the rod has broken and was wondering will a standard rod from a 97 R reg fit the 92 K reg model

thanks for your help

shift linkage. not con-rods. and i assume you arent from the US, so our models are different. what motors are in each that you mentioned?
