no CEL.

and what does it mean if the plug is fouling? and how is it fixed?

fouled plug means plug is bad no spark

so i got it to run bad again, shut it off and found that plug #1 or #4 farthest from the distributor was fouled. I then noticed there was like no gap whatsoever so i bought a replacement and am gonna check it momentarily.

After installing the new plug i noticed it ran the same but im assuming it needed to be cleared out again. The smoke now was white when started

run it for a few mins and pull plugs again and give us details.....

pulled the plug and the same thing is happening.
I didnt let it cool long and a light smoke came out from the plug hole. This only happens when it reaches temperature first though.
I think its like a slight head gasket leak or something.

im pretty sure it should have a cel on does your cel work?


do a compression check
and its starting to sound like it.
once temp. reaches norm it has the pressure and is going into the cylinder.

yeah the CEL comes on when the fuel pump primes for two seconds.

Overheated today on the way back from work...
Gonna do a compression test soon, almost certain the head gasket has a leak

Compression test reads 180-185 across all four cylinders but on the cylinder that had the foul when running bad shoots oil out the plug tube! what does this mean if the compression is good?
