I think I'm just going to replace the head gasket. My dad is an experienced mechanic and it shouldnt be too much of a problem for us to do correct?

 

Bubbles coming from the radiator resevior smelled like exhaust... Almost completely confirms its the head gasket. Bought a new one with a warranty. Installing tomorrow hopefully.

 

I was told it is a good idea to have my head resurfaced before i install the new head gasket, $40 (family friend) getting that done tomorrow hopefully since i work today.

 

when you took the head off did you see where it was leaking??

 

I havent taken it off yet actually, i havent had the time but I will for sure tomorrow. I'm planning on taking some pictures of what i find and when i put it all back together.

 

So I started last night disassembling everything to pull the head....
