rough idle and acceleration to 30mph
the pcv valve on that car is rite on top of the intake manifold, in front of the throttle body. you can't miss it. there's a S shaped hose over it that leads down to the block. you'll need a 14mm wrench or deep socket to remove it. they say that if u shake and it rattles, it's working. i don't really believe that and for the sake of 4 bucks you're better off changing it. but like i said if you're not burning any oil and there's no blowby coming out of yer valve cover, then i'd say yer pcv valve is working and your engine is fine, u jus got a firing problem.
Hi guys, I just took it to a goodyear tire that i worked at so i trust the guys. My number one cylinder has no compression. They said it would cost 860 to pull the head off and see if it's a hole in the clyinder or a valve problem. I don't have $1000 bucks to put into a 15 year old car. The spark plugs have oil on the top and bottom. It's basically trashed. So if anyone needs parts of a 90 civic lx let me know.
Thanks
Thanks
