i am just curious, when your civic has been sitting for hours and you turn the key and start it,how high ofrpm's does it start at?

Between 900-1100.
1992 5 speed.

 

When i first start it in the day it goes to 2000rpm then drops to 1500(i think i have a vacum leak) it does that 4-5 times. Then once warm is around 900rpm.

93 Cx D15B7 motor

 

My '07 LX sedan 5-speed starts at 1100 and drops off to 700 when warmed up.

Fiirkan: Yep, sounds like a vacuum leak.

 

My 93 EX 5 spd starts the day off at 2000 rpm, then drops to 1500 after a minute, then drops to around 1000, then when its warmed up it drops to around 400-700 rpm.

 

98 dx auto

starts around 1500, idles at 600ish
