rubbing/grinding noise??

I realize this is an old thread but my 93 civic wa making this same noise. It ended up being the bearings in the distributor. It eventually seized up and has had problems ever since I replaced it. I'd at least put my ear close to it and check if your still having this problem.

I'd check your pads, and brake fluid level. If theres a leak that could cause some issues. Other than that, good luck.
