Default Rubbing/grinding noise when decelerating

94 civic ex 5 speed manua.l have a grinding kinda noise coming from what I think is my transmission because I only hear when I let off the throttle and start slowing down the noise is worse in lower gears like 1-2 but I cant hear it much in 4th and 5th.
But if im in first gear and say I rev up to like 4 or 5 k and I let off the gas the noise is so bad but if I throw it into neutral the noise goes away and I just continue rolling to my stop. My trans is okay overall no grinds other than sometimes to reverse and my shifting at times can feel clunky but it always catches clean and never slips just had the clutch changed 1k miles ago but it was doing this before the clutch change so anyone have any ideas what it could be ??

noise just gona get worse, but would suggest you get the bearing replace or another tranny if keeping the car for the long haul.
