Default Scrapping sound on front passenger wheel

This is a more recent problem in my civic so i dont really know how it started but whenever i go over some bumps in the road i get some scrapping sound only my front passenger side wheel area. My mechanic says that its not the control arms and says getting a camber kit and rolling my fenders should solve the problem. Can anyone confirm this?

How low is your car and what size is your wheel and tire package there's not much you gave us to go on look for rub spots on the liner and the air dam if its still on the car and the inside of the fender itself also look at the tire too if you are rubbing on something you see it on the tire also

17" wheels with tires 712 205/40
fender liner is still there and the springs give a drop of 1.8"

yeah, more than likely you are just rubbing your tire on the fender due to shock compression from the bump. My car does this as well with a 1.8 drop, because its an automatic and the heavier trans makes the front passenger side scrape occasionally.
