im new here, so hey all!. i searched and i could not find a topic relating to my question, i just bought Greddy 4-2-1 sus headers for my 2000 civic ex coupe, i have stock exuhast except for a muffler, also a AEM air intake. my question is do i have to set anything on my motor like timing or anything to put my headers on?..or can i just put em on and drive and they will be ok?

bolt on you can just bolt them on and drive no timing required reset your ecu though

 

how do i reset my ecu? newbie here =)

 

disconnect your negative battery terminal and let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then hook it back up. You're set.

you might want to get a catback before your header and after you let it sit start it and leave it in park until it gets to normal temp.

 

mmh...i already bought the header =/..nd the next thing on my list is rims...nd that problayisent gona be til late spring..

 

Should you also reset the ECU even when installing an ECU??

Does it matter if you have OBD-0, OBD-I, or OBD-II?

How does this benefit you resetting the ECU? Does this only apply to the exhaust manifold as there is an O2 sensor there....?
