The seatbelt chime is extremely annoying in the 07 civic, does anyone know the process to dissable it (if any)? I know in fords it has to do with turning the key to the on position, buckling and unbuckling the belt........ and please spare me the buckle up saves lives responces

These threads confuse me. If you wore your seatbelt, you wouldn't have to listen to the chime. Am I wrong? There's probably a point to having an annoying chime.

You could run your car into a brick wall, then when your head flies through the windshield you'll never have to hear the chime again.

 

The airbag might save him, so I would suggest that he disengage that too.
