2001 Honda Civic Ex 2dr 1.7L SOHC V-Tec MT: Check engine light is on, was told this was due to aftermarket cat. Also, SRS light is on, was told resetting the comp at the dealership would cure this. Any ideas?

 

disconnect your battery, go have a beer/smoke or whatever...leave it disconnected for 15 minutes, hook it back up, and go for a drive. This SHOULD reset the computer back to normal as well as clear any codes that are there. If anything comes back, then start checkin it out
