Default Shaking at high speeds (over 60 MPH)

I own a 2001 Honda Civic 4-door LE with manual transmission. When driving at high speeds (60 MPH+) my car shakes. My only guess is that the wheels aren't balanced but before I bring it somewhere to get checked I wanted to see if there's any other common problems that might cause this. Car is fine below 60 MPH and braking seems to be fine as well.

BTW, I'm using stock rims.

I had a similar problem with my '97 DX, the front end would shake at any speeds higher than about 65-70mph. It turned out to be related to my front-end alignment, as it went away (for the most part) after I took it in to a local tire shop and had it re-aligned. It only slightly shakes now because there's apparently a problem with the upper control arm on the passenger side, so they weren't able to adjust the camber on that side.

Hope that helps if you didn't already take it in.
