Default should i change the motor?

right now im driving a 98 civic ex coupe and im fixing it up trying to make it nicer. im looking into trying to get more power. so im trying to deside what to do, should i keep the stock motor and rebuild it, or do a swap. the motor in it now only has 88,000 miles on in.

if i do a swap will a motor thats in a 93 civic, a b18, fit in my 98 civic. i just found it, might go look at it soon, its a roll over but only the body is messed up on the roof. the lights, interior, doors (somehow) are all good.

if this motor wont fit or seems dumb to get or whatever, what motor should i look for? what car does it come in and what year will fit?

and does anyone know what motor is in my car now, the stock motor???
