Simplified question...hopefully get some answers
ok, simplified question to my previous post with no answers. can anyone explain to me why my jdm b16b wire harness only has two plugs where it is supposed to connect to the computer...while the ecu that came with the motor its obd2a and need three plugs to function.... where is the third connector....any help would be awsome. thank you
sounds like you need to get a different harness cuz that one doesnt have all the wires in it. when the engine was pulled out of the car in japan, the wire harness prolly got cut or somethin. cuzall obd2a and obd2bharnesses have 3 plugs. the easiest thing will be to just go get the section from the engine to the computer out of a 96-98 ex. or a 99-00 ex or si but then you will have to get a jumper harness.
defintally no cut wires....ive been thorugh the entire harness and nothing was cut. this motor was emaculate and came with every little thing. (highly recomend engineland if you are looking to buy a motor). there has to be a reason why there is only two plugs....
