Default So swung by the honda dealer today...

So i swung by the honda dealer today to ask them about the good ol' srs light being on... well i got this spiel about it being caused by my seatbelt locking up... and this really doesnt make sense to me because the seatbelts lock up on other vehicles all the time without causingthe srs light to go on. They said that it would be a 100 dollar an hour diagnostic to find out if this is the problem. So being a cheapskate i dont really wanna pay 100 bucks or possibly more so could anyone tell me an easier way to tell this? could i just read the error code or something?

TIA

I have looked for hours and I still can't find this freaking MES connector on my 1997 EX, is it on the front side or the back side of the fuse panel?

So i went to the dealer and they hooked it up to the error code checker thing and they said the airbag module had shorted out. =[ then they told me that it was like 800 bucks and theres only like two in the country. so i said screw it not really necessary
