when im sitting still my car has a vibration in it and i dont know why. will it hurt if i put lucas oil in with my tranny fluid? and does anyone know where i can find performance parts for a 93 honda civic with a 1.5 liter and an automatic tranny ? i think my motor is a d15b7 im not sure though.

 

Well as far as the vibration is concerned, it's probably normal. Most of our engines tend to idle low, and this causes some vibration when just sitting in gear at a light or what not. If your in park it probably lessens some then when in D or R. I know mine acts this way, almost feels like it could stall out, but it never does. It could also be related to broken or worn motor mounts, but that's a whole different story i guess.

Thats my .02 anyway. If it's not hurting the performance of the car I wouldn't get into messing with the idle, seems like it ends up hurting more then helping.

 

thanks stumaster. ill look for some aftermarket motormounts and stuff to get rid of that.
