Default Sputtering on Acceleration

Hello All. I have a 1991 Honda Civic DX 4Dr. with 1.5L engine. Today driving home it started to stutter/sputter during acceleration. It only does when under load. At idle and at cruise (once I get there) it seems fine. The sputter is pretty bad though. I was thinking probably something ignition related (cap, rotor, wires, or plugs). Is there anything else I should be looking for? I have only had it for about 6 months, but the previous owner took good care of it.

Also, for plugs, wires, etc., what brand is recommended?

Thanks.

Yeah, check the ignition components mentioned, as well as the ignition timing using a timing gun.
