RE: srs light
Did you have the batterie disconnectet or recharged before the srs light came on?
ORIGINAL: pappabear
I have a 2003 civic ex. The srs light stays on all the time. Disconnected the battery- to re set, didn't help. Is there a problem with the light or airbags? Maybe a recall I didn't know about? Thanks for your help.

RE: srs light
srs (?) - is that the one telling you it is time for maintenance.
there is such on a old audi i have.
comes on every (so many thousand) miles - time to replace oxygen sensor (i think).
there is a trip switch to reset it.

RE: srs light
did you pull the srs fuse out? on my friends '94 civic his srs light is on all the time and i asked him why that is and he said its been like that ever since he pulled the fuse for it out on accident and put it back in. he said he disconnected the battery and everything and it still comes on all the time regardless. hope that helps!

RE: srs light
I talked to a guy that worked for a Honda dealer, he says you have to have it reset by someone with the ECU or whatever they call the computer that resets the lights. MY SRS lights on also, if you take your seats out and re-install them make sure you plug your harnesses back in before you start your car, or your srs light stays on.
It's $60 at the dealer, maybe less at a shop that works on imports.
