Default SRS light on

Hi, I have a 97 civic hatch. The SRS light came on after I took the wheel air bag off and drove without it. I connected the air bag back on, took the battery cables off, the memory fuse and unplug the connector to the SRS module too and nothing works. The light still there. Can any one help me out with this light?

I talked to a factory tech and they said the only way is to go in and get it reset. I had mine re-set a while back. Basically, if thats all you have done, I think it's about $60 at the dealer. Maybe try a shop that works on Hondas, it would be cheaper.
