Default SRS light on

i have a 96 ex and the SRS light on my ins cluster is always lit. it has been on for a couple weeks now.
am i supposed to take it in to the dealership or something to have it looked at?
is there even anything wrong?
i know the SRS is supposed to be checked after 10 years...how much would it cost?

thanks in advance,
Jon.

Default RE: SRS light on

I think it costs $50-$75 to get a diagnostics ran on your SRS system. That's what it is in Joplin anyways. I believe with your SRS light on, if you get into an accident the airbags will not deploy.
